About

Decisions with Data
I'm a Civil Engineer and Quantitative Analyst. I spent the early years of my career on construction projects in Türkiye and Qatar, working on quantity surveying (metraj), BoQ preparation (keşif), progress payments (hakediş), and cost control, before deepening my analytical skill set through independent work in financial modeling, machine learning, and predictive analytics.
Both sides come down to the same craft: turning measurements, drawings, and data into numbers people can act on, whether that's a survey feeding a project budget or a backtested model evaluating a trading signal. I care about getting the inputs right and the conclusions honest.
Outside work, I'm into photography, exploring new cuisines, social events, and sports. Always learning, always looking for the next problem to take apart.
